Thank you to Tim Knutsen for this information: “The 10′ wide, paved non-motorized trail on the west side of the river was … designed and built to ADA standards, providing an accessible walking surface about 8/10ths of a mile long, that actually climbs 50′ in the first 1/2 mile. It’s a unique opportunity for people of all abilities to view a natural stream as it makes a dramatic descent to Lake Michigan.”
